Kalamazoo, Michigan - April 24, 2024 - Milwood Neighborhood Association’s new Board of Directors met the evening of April 23 at the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport to elect officers.
Michele Momotiuk was elected to serve as President of the board. Michele has led the charge to re-organize the Milwood Neighborhood Association to this point and she is excited to see what the organization can do to benefit the neighborhood. She has extensive non-profit service and leadership experience, including extensive involvement with the Junior League of Kalamazoo.Â
The Board created a Co-Vice Presidency position to be occupied by two Directors. Jennifer Nardi and Ethen Seguin were elected to fill these seats. Jennifer serves in the PTOs at both of her children’s schools as well as serving on various KPS committees. She also works as a development leader for a local non-profit. Ethen Seguin graduated from WMU with a degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science. He is passionate about community engagement.
Megan Meier was elected to serve as the Board’s Treasurer. Megan studied Interior and Architectural Design as well as Business at Adrian College. She is looking forward to seeing the board create opportunities for community involvement as well as increasing safety in the area.
Kate Paull was elected to serve as the Board’s Secretary. Kate Studied History at WMU and works in business operations. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to offer her administrative skills to support the work of the Milwood Neighborhood Association.
Next steps for the Milwood Neighborhood Association are to complete the by-law review and adoption process.
